On February 2, 2017, citizens of Tallahassee rallied outside the historic State Capitol in opposition of Donald Trump's immigration ban. Headed by FSU's Students for Justice in Palestine, the rally aimed to foster unity and show support for the Muslim community, while demanding that local government act to protect Tallahassee immigrants. The event featured speakers from community organizations such as the Islamic Center Tallahassee, the International Rescue Committee, and the Center for American Islamic Relations.
For this project I worked as a freelance photographer for FSU's news magazine, The Last Word. The article can be found here.
